This Organic campaign is a 12-day engagement initiative running from December 12th to December 24th on Instagram and Facebook. The main objective is to foster a sense of community and generate engagement by sharing nostalgic Christmas memories from news anchors, reporters, and the audience.
To kick off the campaign, a visually appealing announcement post was shared on December 1st, introducing the dates and explaining that news anchors and reporters will share their childhood Christmas memories in reels, showing them as regular people.
During the preparation phase from December 1st to 11th, interviews were scheduled with news anchors and reporters to capture their Christmas memories on video. Short reels were created for each person, incorporating subtle branding and a holiday-themed background.
On December 12th, the campaign commenced with the first reel featuring a news anchor sharing their childhood Christmas memory. Engaging captions were used to evoke nostalgia and encourage audience participation.
Over the next 12 days, daily reels were posted, featuring different news anchors and reporters sharing their cherished Christmas memories. Captions included thought-provoking questions like "What's your favorite Christmas tradition?" to enhance audience interaction and comments. User-generated content with the campaign hashtag #MyChristmasMemories was regularly checked and reposted, giving credit to the creators and further fostering a sense of community.
On December 18th, a mid-campaign highlight reel was created, showcasing the best moments from the campaign. This compilation video was shared across social media channels to maintain momentum and remind people to participate.
The campaign reached its heartwarming conclusion on December 24th with a Christmas Eve Finale. A heartwarming reel was posted featuring a montage of all news anchors, reporters, and selected user-generated content. The audience was thanked for their engagement, and warm wishes were extended for a joyful Christmas.
